ImplementationImplementation
  1. The exercise begins with the mentor announcing the task of crafting a complete song, encompassing both lyrics and melody, within the time framework of 10 minutes.
  2. The mentor must emphasize that the focus is not on perfection but on sheer act of creation. They must encourage the participants to dive into the process with enthusiasm and an open mind, regardless of concerns about the final product’s quality or about individual musical abilities.
  3. The mentor circulates throughout the room, offering words of encouragement and guidance as needed, reinforcing the notion that this exercise is not about perfection but about embracing the joy of creation.
  4. As the 10-minute timer reaches its conclusion, the mentor asks each group to present their song created to the others, regardless of how polished or raw their compositions may be. As participants share their creations with the group, a sense of collective achievement and mutual support further solidifies, creating a positive and empowering atmosphere that lingers long after the music fades.
